Windows FAQs

How much does UPVC double glazing cost?

Costs depend on sizes, specifications and colours, which is why we’ve created our windows and doors configurator, so you can get prices tailored to your own specifications quickly and easily. To give you an indication, our white A-energy-rated window prices start from around £200 on a supply-only basis.

Can Eurocell Home UPVC windows match my existing style?

Yes, we offer the two frame styles that have traditionally been used in window-making for several decades and our windows are available in the most popular colours, so you can customise your new windows to your existing style.

Can I get different coloured UPVC windows?

Yes. There is a range of contemporary and traditional colours for both styles of window frames we offer. Our composite and UPVC doors are available in those same colours and others, so you can either colour match your windows and doors or create contrasting colour styles.

Can I paint my existing UPVC frames?

Yes, but we don’t recommend it as the chances are it won’t look very good and it would invalidate any remaining Guarantee you have on your windows.

Does Eurocell Home offer ‘Velux-style’ roof windows?

Eurocell Home doesn’t currently offer roof windows, but the nationwide network of Eurocell branches do sell these on a supply-only basis. For more information, contact your local branch on 08000 777 888.

Do Eurocell Home offer double-glazed windows with vents built-in?

Yes. Your advisor will assess and include your ventilation needs when they survey your property.

What is the energy rating of Eurocell Home UPVC windows?

Unlike many of our competitors, at Eurocell Home we keep our window energy ratings very simple. All of the windows we supply are BFRC (British Fenestration Ratings Council) A-rated as standard. This is the highest rating double-glazed windows can currently achieve. Anything higher (such as A++ ratings) requires triple-glazing, which is much more expensive than double-glazing.

Do Eurocell UPVC windows come with a guarantee?

Yes, all our products are guaranteed for up to 10 years. For more details, visit our guarantees page here

How secure are Eurocell Home windows?

Very secure. All Eurocell Home opening windows have locking handles as standard and all our windows are internally beaded. This means the trims that hold the glass in place are on the inside of the window, so they can’t be easily removed from the outside, which would allow the glass to be taken out easily, giving fast access into a property. All Eurocell window systems are vigorously tested to the latest security standards, for your peace of mind. For more information, visit our Security page here.
