Here at Eurocell Home, we believe making improvements to your home should be easy, and that you shouldn’t have to break the bank to do them. That’s why we’ve worked tirelessly for years to produce high-quality products, that offer excellent value for money.
Our garden buildings range has been carefully designed to meet UK building regulations, meaning planning permission isn’t required in 90% of cases. This gives you the freedom to add extra space to your home without the hassle.
It’s a big purchase to consider and we thought you may have a few questions. Here are some of the questions we've been asked recently:
Do I require planning permission?
The beauty of a Garden Room is that they do not require planning permission, we have carefully designed our products, so they meet all regulations. There may be some very rare exceptions to this, such as your property being on conservation land, however, 90% of the time you will not require planning permission. Do your Garden Rooms conform to building regulations?
Not only do all of our Garden Rooms meet building regulations, but they also surpass them. We have carefully reviewed every detail of our Garden Rooms to ensure that all regulations are taken care of. We have taken every care to ensure our Garden Rooms are built to the same high standard as most British houses.
How close can I get to my garden wall?
We recommend you speak to your local planning authority, as guidelines vary. As a rule, most garden rooms need to be 1 meter away from the boundary line.
How quickly can I get a survey?
Scheduling a survey depends on which part of the country you live in. Surveys are normally scheduled within a week of you confirming your final design and making your 20% deposit payment.
Do I need to be at home for the survey?
We would recommend you are at the property for the duration of the survey as it will allow us to ask any questions about your installation and to advise you of anything you may need to know. We appreciate our customers lead busy lives, so as long as we can access your garden then it is possible for us to complete the survey without you present, and your project manager can discuss the survey results with you at a more convenient time.
How long will the site survey take?
We will book a one-hour slot on the day of your survey. Usually, the survey will take 30 – 45 minutes but we book up to an hour to ensure we have enough time to be as thorough as possible. Once the survey has been completed, you will receive a feedback and a final quote within 24hrs of the visit.
What access will you require when installing?
We need clear access to the location where your garden building will be installed. If the location is at the rear of your property, we require clear access to allow us to bring required materials to the location. The area should be clear of any obstructions that may impede the installation.
Where are you located?
Can I use my Garden Room all year round?
Yes – all our Steel Frame Kyube and Hub Garden Rooms are fully insulated and are designed to withstand the great British weather and will be just as inviting as your own home, no matter the season. Our Timber Frame Kyube comes ready for you to add your own insulation and finishing touches, which will leave you with a room which is ready to be used all year round.
Can I add fixtures to my Garden Room?
Our Timber Framed Kyube Garden Room is designed for exactly this purpose; we provide the structure, and you can add your own personal touches by adding the fixtures and finishes which suit you and your lifestyle. When it comes to our Steel Framed Kyube building and our Hub buildings, we aim to ensure that your finished product has everything you require. You are able to make changes yourself at a later time should you wish. Our project manager will happily discuss any future plans you may have.
Does it come with electrics and a power pack?
Our Kyube garden rooms come with an electrical pack as standard, the pack contains: External lights, internal light pendant, double light switch, 2 twin sockets, a consumer unit and cable.
Our Hub garden rooms come fully equipped with infrared heating, internal lighting and flush fitting electric and ethernet sockets.
Can I fix things to the walls?
Yes, you can hang shelves, pictures etc. from the walls.
Can I paint the interior walls?
Our Steel Frame Kyube Building comes with an internal cladding option for the walls which, as well as being a stylish finish to your Garden Room, is very durable and low maintenance. This will not need painting. Our Timber Frame Garden Room comes unfinished internally so you will be able to finish and paint the internal walls any style and colour you desire. Our Hub Garden Rooms come fully finished internally. You are able to paint the walls but please check with us regarding paint specifications before you do so.
Can I get plumbing to my Garden Room?
Yes, you can. You will need to contact a plumber before installation to ensure everything is in place. Adding plumbing may require building regulations approval, so we suggest you visit: Planning and development: Building regulations - detailed information - GOV.UK for more information.

Can we have a larger decking area?

What are the dimensions internally and externally?

Can I use my Garden Room as an extension?
Our Garden Rooms aren’t designed to be extensions, they are standalone rooms positioned away from, and not physically connected to, your property.
