The sustainable choice

Choosing Eurocell UPVC windows and doors is good for your home, your pocket and the environment. For many years UPVC has been recognised for its durability, low maintenance and insulation performance, important contributors towards sustainability.

Made & Recycled in the UK

Today, thanks to Eurocell innovations in recycling, UPVC windows and doors are the first choice for sustainability too. That’s because we reclaim, recycle and re-use end-of-life UPVC and put it back into our new products, so minimal material ends up as waste in landfill. Last year Eurocell recycled 2.4million window and door frames – the equivalent to 3700 double-decker buses – saved from landfill.

Plus, UPVC gets stronger after it has been recycled, so its technical performance actually gets better. No compromises on quality.

Eurocell designs, manufactures and recycles all of its products in the UK, supporting British jobs and keeping its carbon footprint to a minimum.

These are just some of the reasons why Eurocell has won the National Recycling Awards and the Future Manufacturing Sustainability award.

Long-life performance

We’re often asked how long UPVC windows will last. Many thousands of first generation products are still in reliable use today. An independent assessment by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) estimates the lifespan to be up to 35 years. The UPVC can then be recycled up to 10 times, so the same material could remain in use for up to 350 years!

A-rated for energy efficiency

New windows and doors will make your home warmer and more comfortable, by improving its energy efficiency. And improved energy efficiency means lower heating bills for you and fewer Green House Gas emissions for the environment.

Eurocell Home windows are British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) A-rated for energy efficiency as standard, which means they are high performance. For comparison, the standard demanded by current new Building Regulations is a C-rating, well below Eurocell Home standards. (WER A-rated energy label)

Please note: Composite doors are B-rated for energy efficiency as standard.
